Ok, I've been MIA for a couple of days again. Sorry... It seems like we try to cram a week's worth of fun (and work) into the two days that we have on the weekend. We did get a lot done though!
The North wall in the dining room is finally painted. Doug and I almost broke into WW III during "discussions" about painting the top... but, that is another story. We did get it painted and it looks very nice. I think that when they originally painted it, they didn't get a good covering. Hmmm, surprise there... Tonight we'll put the chair-railing and baseboard back up. Doug can change the lovely brown outlets to ivory... and we'll be all done! Yeah :) Now, we just need to paint the West and South walls, get a new ceiling fan and new rugs, and we'll be done. Of course, that is probably easier said than done - as are all house projects.
I am hoping to do the final steps of the "pewtering" of the bathroom hardware today. I know, it seems like this is taking forever.
Yesterday, James went in for his nine-month check-up. He passed with flying colors. His weight has slowed down - I think that Amanda did this about this age, too. He weighed 19 lbs. 7 oz. (30-40% for his age). And, he was 28 3/4 inches long (75%). He had to get a finger prick to have his iron levels checked - which were fine. And, he had to have one vaccination... Of course, he didn't care for either of those, but Amanda and I provided him extra love and sugar, and he bounced back pretty fast. I know that vaccinations are for the good, but boy, I hate to have them given... Probably on a related note, James didn't sleep very well last night (so, neither did I). I was up at 12:30... 1:30... 4:30... and up for good at 8:30. This wouldn't have been as bad, if Amanda had gone to bed at a decent hour last night.
No baby news from Georgia yet. I continue to pray that the baby will wait to come until Dean gets home (really late Wednesday). It sounds like Mendi is keeping Mom and Dad busy with "to-do's". I'm glad that they can be there with her during this special time.
Well, gotta go get this day started... It's "golf" day, so that means I am a single Mom until about 8:30 tonight. GRRRRRRRR! Pray for me to have patience, energy and compassion...

Aren't 'discussions' fun?LOL That's great news about James! But I was really surprized that you thought his wieght was low. Joey was 16lbs at 9mo! We have no low weight issues now tho.;)
So are your parents going to stay until she has the baby?
