Doug and James had some fun getting into trouble this morning. Doug was watching James and Amanda while I copied some recipes out of one of Mendi and Dean's cookbooks. All of a sudden I hear, "Oh NO!" Well, to me it was no surprise what had happened, as I had warned Doug at least twice about his coffee cup earlier. James had swiped the coffee cup (thankfully, the coffee was cold) and spilled it on the coffee table... hmm. Is that how the coffee table got its name? Anyway, James proceeded to splash in the spilled coffee causing splatters to go in every direction. The kids then got their baths for the day a little bit earlier than planned. Everything (and everybody) cleaned up just fine.
Yesterday, we hit a milestone cache mark of 400! We are all pretty excited about this. It's been fun to see some brand new areas down here through this hobby. Last evening, we visited an Episcopalian (sp?) church that had a beautiful brick labyrinth and garden area. Very peaceful and beautiful.
We also did some shopping yesterday. We wore all of the kids out. It was funny to see them all three lined up in their carseats snoozing. They're all so peaceful when they want to be...
We're heading to the mall later for some fun and adventure. Tomorrow, we are planning on visiting Magnolia Springs State Park. There are lots of trails, a lake, a spring, an aquarium... should be a blast! Oh, and speaking of magnolias... I smelled one late bloom on a magnolia tree yesterday during a morning walk around Mendi and Dean's neighborhood - YUM! It smelled awesome! Oh, and speaking of smells, Mendi and Dean have some Jasmine blooming in their backyard next to the sunporch. YUM again! Everytime I go out onto the porch, I'm greeted by its heavenly scent. It reminds me of Hawaii.
