Busy, Busy

I've been up and going since 6:30 this a.m. James woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. He's feeling better today, but he has a nagging cough. In fact, after I nursed him this morning, he got a coughing spell and wound up gagging himself. Yuk... what a way to start the day. I had to change our clothes, the sheets on the bed, etc. Amanda slept in until about 8:00 a.m. She acts a bit better, but she says that she still doesn't feel good. I don't feel too bad... I slept well. That was good, because there is so much to do today.

When I took the mail out to the mailbox, I noticed that one of the spirea bushes we planted a couple of days ago has little tiny blooms on it already!! They are a beautiful pink color. That makes the hard work worthwhile. We had more rain last night. Very nice... now I don't have to worry about watering everything before we leave. The yard didn't get mowed last night, and I don't know how I'm going to be able to do it today. I'll have to see. If I can't get it done, I'll give the boys down the street a call and see if they want to do it for us... I hate to do that, but I don't know what else to do if we don't get it done tonight.

Gotta go for now... Lots to do before we take off in the morning. Please pray for safe travel for us.
