In Georgia

We made it! We arrived in Augusta yesterday afternoon. We had a great time visiting Doug's family in Ohio while celebrating one of our nephew's graduation from high school... then, it was time to pack up and head South. The trip went very smoothly. It seemed to take forever, since the driving was spread across two days, but actually, we did make very good time.

Baby Anzie is an absolute doll! When we got here, Dean carried her out to see us, and it seemed as though he was carrying a little, tiny puppy... or as he put it a loaf of bread. She is so little and light as a feather. Whenever I pick her up, I feel like I'm going to toss her over my shoulder. I'm so used to my big babies.

WOW - what a finish to the Indy 500 yesterday! One cool thing about being in Georgia is that we could actually watch the race live. I'm not necessarily a big Roger Penske fan, but I do really like Sam Hornish, Jr. I was ecstatic when he passed Marco to win. (I am definitely not an Andretti fan at all... I guess this started when I was young and heard my dad always rooting against them. I have really never changed my opinion of them for whatever reason). So, this time the good guy (Sam) wins! Woohoo!! Way to go!

We've been doing some geocaching and relaxing... lots of eating, as usual. It's been very fun. I'm not sure what we'll get into over the course of the next few days, but it is certain to be fun and entertaining. I'll try to write more in a day or two.
