91 Years

I forgot to include birthday wishes to my grandfather in my earlier post. He turns a very young and spry 91 years old today! Physically, he has some troubles... and really he has had for several years. He has had open heart surgery... has been on dialysis... has back problems. But, let me tell you - his mind is as sharp as a tack! I pray that if I live to be as old as he is, that I am as sharp as he is. He can recall stories from his youth like they happened yesterday. I can't even begin to imagine all of the changes that he has seen in his 91 years of life. We have seen so many technological advances just in my lifetime... And, speaking of advances, he now has a golf cart to ride around his farm... and, it is quite a treat when we go to visit him and he lets us take the cart out for a spin. Just imagine when he and his father used horses and a plow to clear the land for their first crops... Amazing.
