It's A Girl!

I just talked to Mendi a little while ago. They had an ultrasound today... and, it's a girl!! Everyone is pretty surprised. I'm not sure why, but we were all thinking it was a boy. Perhaps, Amanda skewed our thoughts when she immediately announced upon finding out that Aunt Mimi was going to have a baby, that it was a boy. So, out came all of the pink stuff to be packed up for our upcoming trip. I think that we might need to rent a U-Haul trailer.

The first session of the Music Playhouse went great today. Amanda was insane. Usually at the first session of a new class, she is very subdued and clingy. Not today. She was running around, jumping up and down... it was great! Oh, and Amanda got her first kiss from a boy. This little guy named Jack came up to Amanda near the end of class and told her, "Good job, Emma." (It was a good guess, as there were three of them in our class - LOL!). Amanda looked a little concerned... and then he gave her a peck on the cheek. It was hilarious.

Most of the snow from earlier this week has melted. Yeah. I'm ready for the grass to finish greening up and the daffodils to bloom. No more white stuff, please.

Felix is still being a little mean towards KC. He didn't like the way that she smelled after her bath, I guess. I don't know if it is the yummy soap smell or the vet smell that he doesn't like. But, he keeps being aggressive towards her. Perhaps it has something to do with having to re-establish the pecking order since Oscar is no longer here. But, to me that doesn't make any sense... as they were already #1 and #2 cats...

Mom and Dad are coming later to bring some touch up paint for Mendi's truck. We'll also be getting pizza. Amanda thinks that is all that they eat.
