Stinky and Jake...

Oh, what a dilemma. I can't get the "Stinky and Jake" VCR tape from the library to play today. It goes in the player fine, but when I try to play, rewind or fastforward, nothing happens. Boy, Amanda was pretty bummed out. I'm not sure what to do to get it to work. But, rest assured, Amanda is trying to figure it out. She has her "screwdrivers" which are really colored pencils. They are looking inside the show to see if they can fix it. So far, she hasn't been able to come up with a plan to fix it either. But, on the other hand, she has the prettiest set of screwdrivers that I've ever seen - purple, violet, blue, light blue, ultramarine, red, yellow, white, orange, and pink.

It is very sunny here this morning. It definitely brightens my spirits. I have no idea what the weather is supposed to be like this weekend. It would be great to be able to be outside... maybe do some geocaching, wash the vehicles, mow the yard. I can't believe that the yard needs to be mowed already! It was growing enough... then, the folks came to treat it yesterday prior to some rain. It should go totally nuts now.

On the other hand, if the weather is bad, we have plenty of stuff to do inside. The laundry has gotten back out of control. And, we have many projects started. The family room wallpaper ripping project has stalled out for a couple of days. I need to get back on that. And, the paint the bathroom vanity project has stalled out. That should be a pretty quick one to wrap up, though. We also still need to paint the final wall of paneling in the dining room. Lots to do... isn't there always?
