Well, it seems as though I had no choice this morning but to convert to the "new" blogger. It appears that everything went smoothly. I assume that my URL will be the same? I'll have to check this out...
We've been busy. Lots going on. We have (Doug primarily) been working on building an awesome playset for the kids. It is going to be very nice. Of course, we had just thought of having a nice little swingset... ha. You know how that goes. Also, we have a guy lined up to come and repair some wood on the exterior of our home. He is also going to paint it. We could have done the painting ourselves, but decided the quote was pretty good... and we would rather spend time having fun with the kiddos.
Amanda and I had a fun "girls" time last evening. We painted our toenails. Very fun. Her feet were far too little to use the toe-spreaders that I have, so we used cotton instead. She got a big kick out of it... and, said that the cotton felt like velvet. This morning we had to paint her fingernails. They look cute.
Very strange weather around here lately. Two days ago, there were four confirmed tornadoes in our vicinity. I listened to storm chasers on the scanner monitor one of them... kinda spooky... especially when one of them said, "It just got a house!" Yikes. Yesterday, it was snowing when the kids and I went to music class. YUK! I am SO ready for warm temperatures on a consistent basis.
I entered the world of selling on eBay yesterday. Doug has decided that he isn't going to be able to run the mini marathon this year, so I am selling his entry. Getting it posted wasn't too difficult. I only had to make three attempts - LOL. But, it is up and running now... and, we have received one bid!! Woohoo!! Hopefully, I can figure out how to complete the transaction smoothly. Thousands of people can... shouldn't a "retired" computer programmer be able to figure it out?
Well, gotta go for now. Chores are calling...
