Funny Stuff

There is just WAY too much funny stuff going on around here not to get back in the blog "saddle". The other day was cleaning off the bar. It had accumulated our usual weekend clutter. I found the Bible that was put there after church yesterday. I asked Amanda if she and James would like to hear a Bible story. She didn't miss a beat and said, "But Mommy... we aren't eating right now."
LOL! I explained to her that you could read the Bible anytime... it didn't need to be only when you were at the dinner table. Funny...

Then, this morning, we were looking at a couple of Happy Meal toys that Amanda had recently gotten - Dorothy and Glenda of the Wizard of Oz. I said, "Oh, look! Dorothy has on pretty ruby red slippers." She agreed and wanted to know what kind of shoes Glenda had on. We looked, and they were just pink... nothing special. Amanda said, "Oh. She just has on Robeez." Boy oh boy, she and James just keep me in stitches!!

We are off to enjoy the beautiful day... sunny... green... flowers and trees blooming! It's music class day, too. What could be better?
