11Years

Wow! Today is our 11 year anniversary. It doesn't seem possible. All of the years have just zoomed by... of course, the last four with our children have elapsed the fastest. I try to make an honest attempt at slowing down and taking time to smell the roses... imagine if I didn't. Life on this planet really does go by so fast.

Music class was fun yesterday. It really is neat to watch the kids play the instruments and interpret the music. I really do miss our old teacher... and the moms and kids that were in our previous classes. The teacher is new for us and NONE of the families were in the class that we were in before. They all seem nice... but, they seem to be a bit focused on material things (to put it nicely). I don't want to be judgemental... that is just the way I see it.

Yesterday, the kids and I did a big fish-switch project. We now have another tank that is totally Hapalochromis (sp?). We have a couple of species of peacocks and three blue dolphin. We moved the daktari and acei into their own separate 10-gallon tanks. Hopefully, everyone will be happier, and they will all have room to grow. We will probably take some of them to the next fish meeting and auction them off. No need to have so many...

Not sure what we will get into today. I'm planning a trip to Lowe's. We also need to get our pansies into some flower pots. It looks like it should be a very nice, sunny day. It will be great to get everyone outside (including me) to burn off some energy!!
