Wow... with the abbreviated week last week (and this week, too), it is already time for the Friday's Feast! These are always fun for me. I hope that you enjoy them, too. Speaking of "you"... does anyone still even read my blog? If you do, drop me a comment so that I know someone is out there.
Ok... here we go!
Appetizer:
Have you ever played a practical joke on anyone? If so, what did you do and who was your victim? Oh boy. I've been involved in many a practical joke. I've helped mastermind a few (like having the State Police call a co-worker who had altered the expiration date on his temporary license plate)... helped coordinate a few (like when a different co-worker was supposed to meet a financial broker... but, it turned out to be a 30-year surprise birthday party). I used to work with the MASTER of practical jokes. He was the best... But, the one that sticks out in my mind that was 100% my doing was done to Doug on our honeymoon. We were standing at the deck railing on the cruise ship, and I violently gestured out that I had seen a dolphin... or maybe a whale... But, when I did, I pretended that my brand new wedding ring had flown off of my hand, deep into the blue Carribbean. I had already taken my ring off and put it into my pocket. I didn't let Doug go on too long before telling him it was a joke (it was April Fool's Day!).
Soup:
What do your salt and pepper shakers look like? They are kind of "chunky" and are royal blue. They match the flour, sugar, etc. cannisters that sit in our kitchen.
Salad:
Where is the next place you plan to visit (on vacation or business)? We have been talking about this lately... since we just returned from our last vacation (the Smokies). I know that we will be visiting Augusta, GA in May for our niece's 2nd birthday... we might even take a trip down there before May. So, that will more than likely be our next vacation destination.
Main Course:
What kind of lotion or cream do you use to keep your hands from getting too dry? Good question... I've been using a lot of it lately. While we were on vacation, I was totally paranoid that we would all get sick, so I washed my hands TONS. I've been using a bunch of Arbonne Intelligence Body Lotion. It seems to do the trick. If things get way out of hand (so to speak), I use Eucerin Cream.
Dessert:
Make up a dessert, tell us its ingredients, and give it a name. Well, it would have to be something involving chocolate... Ok, take some very rich and gooey made-from-scratch brownies... cut a large square and place it on a plate that has been drizzled with raspberry syrup. Then, put fresh raspberries in more syrup over the top of the brownie... top with a blob of fresh whipped cream. I would call it Chocolate Amore. It's probably been done before... but that's what I've come up with this early in the morning. Two of my favorites...
Have a great weekend!

I am still here and reading everyday. I am enjoying the Friday Feast posts. Interesting and funny stuff - and in some cases, funny memories for me (I still can't believe I fell for that Financial Adviser farce). Keep writing and post some more pictures :-) -- Dave
